Nestoria at LPW2008
Fellow Nestorexics, this Saturday several members of the Nestoria team headed to the London Perl Workshop for a day of learning and laughs. As sponsors it was our pleasure to present several awards for best speaker in various categories. Many thanks to everyone who presented, the calibre of the talks was very high, and the large attendance signals that perl is alive and thriving. From the Nestoria team Alistair (pictured below), our visiting scholar from the Univ. of Glasgow, presented Arbyte, the work management system he and others in the team have been developing, while I discussed our approach the benefits of planning for future debugging.
For those that were not able to attend, fear not, in true TMTOWTDI spirit our presentations are below in full slideshare glory. And while the fun and alcohol of such events is difficult to replicate virtually, there's always another conference around the corner. Indeed, I'm pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the Deutscher Perl-Workshop in Frankfurt at the end of February. More details in due time on our German blog . Many thanks to the organisers for putting on a great event. Enjoy the presentations:
